BITTING Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of BITTING, a personal health tracking application offered by Cerix Corp. By accessing or using BITTING, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
- Acceptance and Eligibility
BITTING is intended for adults using the application for themselves or for an individual for whom they are legally authorized to act. You may connect only your own health record or a record you are permitted to access as an authorized caregiver or personal representative. You are responsible for protecting access to your device, Google account, and application links.
- Personal Organization — Not Medical Advice
BITTING helps users organize self-entered vital signs, nutrition, INR, symptoms, medications, and patient-authorized health information. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, emergency monitoring, or a substitute for professional medical care. Do not change medications, anticoagulation, diet, or treatment based solely on BITTING. In an emergency, call 911 or contact the appropriate emergency service.
- Patient-Authorized Health Data
BITTING may use read-only SMART on FHIR and OAuth 2.0 connections to retrieve selected demographics, laboratory observations, and diagnostic reports authorized by the patient. Authentication occurs on the healthcare organization’s official sign-in page. BITTING does not receive or store the patient’s MyChart username or password and does not write information back to the electronic health record. Access may be disconnected or revoked at any time.
- Accuracy, Availability and Third-Party Services
Information may be entered by users or obtained from healthcare organizations and other third-party services. Data may be incomplete, delayed, duplicated, unavailable, or contain differences in names, units, dates, or reference ranges. Always verify important information with the original healthcare provider. Cerix Corp does not guarantee uninterrupted access or the accuracy or availability of third-party systems.
- Privacy, Acceptable Use and Ownership
Use of health and personal information is described in the BITTING Privacy & Data Use Notice. Cerix Corp does not sell health information or use it for advertising. You may not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the application, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, or use BITTING unlawfully. BITTING’s software, design, branding, and original content remain the property of Cerix Corp or their respective licensors.
- Disclaimers, Changes and Contact
BITTING is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Cerix Corp is not affiliated with, operated by, or endorsed by Epic Systems Corporation, MyChart, AdventHealth, or participating healthcare providers. Cerix Corp may modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may update these terms when necessary. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
